Jason Statham – Digital Painting Study (10K Resolution)
Single Layer | No Eyedropper | No Tracing
This is a high-resolution digital painting study of Jason Statham, created entirely from scratch based on a movie still reference. The goal of this piece was to push realism while maintaining artistic control—done entirely on a single layer with no tracing and no color picking/eyedropper tool used throughout the process.
Rendered at 10,000 pixels, the portrait captures the grit, expression, and cinematic tension of the actor's iconic action role. The gunman's hand in the background was stylized for contrast, highlighting the juxtaposition between comic-style intensity and hyper-realistic focus.
🧠 Study Focus:
Facial structure and skin detail
Texture realism (blood, pores, stubble)
Manual color mixing without digital aids
Cinematic atmosphere & dramatic lighting
🎨 Tools: Photoshop (manual brushwork only)
🕒 Time: Approx. 20+ hours
👁 Reference used: Movie photo still (eyeballed, no grid)
This artwork is part of my personal practice archive under the GuuGoo Studio label, pushing the boundary between digital fine art and entertainment media study.
