🎨 Eyeballed Portrait – Go Youn Jung
2–3 Hour Digital Painting | Photoshop | Wacom Cintiq 16”
This is a fanart painting of South Korean actress Go Youn Jung, created as a practice in observation, subtle lighting, and capturing likeness with zero tracing and no eyedropper. Entirely eyeballed and painted freehand using Photoshop on a Wacom Cintiq 16”, this piece was completed in roughly 2–3 hours.
The aim was to retain a soft, semi-realistic style while maintaining the character and grace of the original reference photo. The background was simplified to bring full focus to her calm yet contemplative expression as she holds her phone.
This study is a tribute to the power of pure observation and discipline in traditional digital techniques.
